I am Full Professor at the School of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University. Between 2013 and 2020 I was the Director of the Center for Philosophical Studies of the same School. Between 2018 and 2023 I was President of the Board of the Portuguese Society of Phenomenological Philosophy. My main interests in research are currently focused on the Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl, of whom I have translated the Logical Investigations into Portuguese (in collaboration with Pedro M. S. Alves). My two last books are Caminhos da Fenomenologia, which was published in 2015 by the Portuguese Catholic University Press; and The Philosophy of Ortega y Gasset Reevaluated, published by Spinger in 2019. I have several papers published in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, Germany and the United States.
